2. Develop and implement programs and services that are timely and of value to our clients
- The provision of a full range of Family and Child care services as defined by the Secwepemc. To ensure the services of the Agency are made available on request to all members of the seven (7) member Bands and to all residents on land held by the seven (7) Bands.
- The provision of specific services designed to bring and keep families together. To ensure the repatriation of children to their immediate and extended families. As a result, the care and protection of children will be the responsibility of their own community.
- The establishment of a family case planning process as it pertains to the repatriation and care of Secwepemc children. To ensure that there is community responsibility for all aspects of Family and Children's services to families in need, and to ensure the case planning process is shared between the family and the Agency.
- The development of a system of Family and Child care services rooted in sets of policies and administrative guidelines as established by the Secwepemc community and made operational by the SCFSA. To ensure such policies and procedures are a true reflection of the values and standards inherent in the traditional and current practices of communities.
